My Story
It all began with a "click" of a switch! My Scentsy journey began in 2012 with the "click" of the switch of my Rooster warmer and the smell of Welcome Home warming in my kitchen. With animals, kids and life, I dreamed of a day that I would walk into my home after a long day at work to a wonderful smelling home. I used candles but I would have to light them and fear the flame every day with kids and a mischevous cat. Then I found Scentsy! There simple warming systems provided me the freedom to turn on my warmers anytime I wanted and not fear that my house would burn down or my kiddos or animals would get burnt! It was love at first "click". Each Scentsy warmer is a small lamp that can warm wax at a temperature just higher than our own body temp. I don’t have to worry about keeping my warmers on all day or even at night. I can enjoy a wonderful smelling home all the time. I had my very own home party not too long after I purchased my first warmer, I wanted to earn as much Scentsy without spending a ton of my own money. What I discovered is that Scentsy consultants can make really good money with parties and orders and have fun doing it....so I thought, I could do this! See I am a mom of three amazing kids, a wife of a very supportive husband and had a successful full-time job. When I decided to sell Scentsy everyone said, “why would you do that, you don’t need money?! or "Why would you want to add that to your plate?" What no one else realized, only my husband, was that I needed some FUN in my life. I needed a “hobby” that was all mine. My husband is an avid outdoorsman and I wanted something that I could have fun with too and I picked Scentsy. By investing 3-5 hours a week in my hobby it quickly turned into a thriving business and provided our family with extra income each month. That extra income at first helped supplement my car payment, now it pays for so much more: Dance Classes Summer camping trips Soccer camps Travel sports teams My car payment Camper payment My Scentsy hobby has also given my husband and me an opportunity to go on a second honeymoon to the Bahamas and for me to go to city’s that I had only dreamed of going, like Las Vegas, Indianapolis, and Nashville. There have been so many amazing things that have happened in my life since “jumping in with both feet” and becoming a Scentsy Consultant, making my hobby into an amazing business. **I am thankful to all those who have wanted to share this journey with me and JOINED my team! Working their businesses to earn extra money for themselves and their families while having the independence to work when it works for them. **I have met so many AMAZING people on my Scentsy Journey. A TRUE SCENTSY FAMILY! **Most of all I get to be me! A mom of 3, a wife to my amazing husband, I juggle sports, extracurricular activities and my children’s ever growing social schedule. Life is crazy but without the craziness it wouldn’t be my life! Scentsy isn’t the “one more thing” it’s my time, my happy place.
